clinical supervision & consultation

Beginning your career as a counselor is exciting and challenging. From aiding you with client’s in crisis, to business, ethical, and legal questions, I am dedicated to helping you thrive in this field. My approach to supervision is integrative, collaborative, and designed to empower you. I work through a developmental lens with new counselors and utilize the Noeticus Clinical Training Triangle. Sessions will focus on: developing clinical skills and theoretical orientation, professional identity, administrative effectiveness, self-awareness and personal development.

An avid lifelong learner, I am trained and experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Natural Lifemanship, somatic therapy, energy therapy, Gestalt, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and more.

My interest and commitment to counselor education has included working for three years as a clinical supervisor at the Naropa Community Counseling Center and one year at the Naropa Student Counseling Center. I have work experience as a former crisis counselor and several years of experience providing individual and group therapy at a substance abuse outpatient center.

As a supervisee, you will find a supportive and encouraging partnership wherein you can explore your clinical challenges and celebrate successes with acceptance, compassion, curiosity, and joy! Reach out if you want to explore working together.

Our Supervision sessions will be

  • Personalized

Our initial supervision sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current learning and practice goals and creating a personalized plan to fit your unique needs and goals. Each session will then check back on pertinent clients and goals for the consultation.

  • Targeted

Everyone has pain points when it comes to client dynamics. I’ll work with you to help identify, understand and navigate challenging relational dynamics that may be impeding your skills and ability to attune to and coregulate with certain clients. I’ll help you work through your triggers and increase your awareness of countertransference dynamics, utilizing them to gain insight and guide treatment direction.

  • Integrative

I am experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches, and have extensive experience in helping therapists design relevant interventions. I draw from a wealth of modalities, including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, somatic based chakra therapy, Gestalt and more.
